Founded in 1628, Dai Chun Lin is a beauty brand with a long history of nearly 400 years. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was used as a royal tribute for the concubines in the palace to provide fragrant powder and incense pieces. The 22nd chapter of ‘Supplement to the Dream of the Red Chamber’, of the Qing Dynasty records that “This time, when Xue Pan passed through Yangzhou, he again hurried to Dai Chun Lin’s shop on Gengzi Street to buy a large quantity of fragrant products to take home as gifts.
